Andy and Laurie Whiteley began their dog training careers while in college at the University of Missouri. Andy met John Gassner at a trap and skeet shooting class at Mizzou; shortly thereafter, John started training with Andy.
After having children, Andy and Laurie took a 10 year break from training until a call came in late one night from their old friend John. Together, John and Andy agreed to share ownership and training of Jake. Three years later, after Jake showed great promise, John and Andy bought Lucy.
Following the successes of Jake and Lucy, the kennel continued to grow and in 2014 the Whiteleys moved to the current kennel location in Michigan City, Mississippi just outside of Memphis, Tennessee.
